i discovered today after talking to the sales guy at tire rack that the basic Bronco Sport OEM wheels if you purchase a replacement from Ford the cost is $800 per wheel. The upgraded steelies are over $1000 per wheel. So I changed my order on the 2022 Badlands to the stock tires and wheels. 225/65/R17. I will sell the stock tires as take-offs when the time comes.
You can buy a nice set of four wheels for $800-$1,000 the same price Ford sells one wheel. Buyer Beware!
Also, the Falken Wild Peaks and AT3W have absolutely no warranty on road hazard or rated mileage. So if you leave the dealership and two months later the tire get a hole that’s not fixable, you’re out of a tire. Tires last 20,000 miles too bad. Not sure if the dealers sell a tire protection plan? I prefer to get my tires from Costco for the comprehensive tire replacement warranty and free rotation. Not sure if I put on aftermarket wheels and oversized tires if they will do the rotation.its hit and miss on the locations, who will rotate them or not.
