Yeah with a tuner on these ecoboost you really can get a decent amount of extra power but since I'm going for the largest tires possible and since they're going to be basically a hybrid almost a mud terrain I don't think a tune would be even enough to make up for what I would lose with going to the bigger tires let alone making more power. Yeah I don't want it to be a hot rod no I don't want it to really affect my miles per gallon or as little as possible but I do wanted to be a little bit faster than it is.You could try getting a tune and forego the turbo upgrade, depending on the level of tune you can get some good numbers out of the Ecoboost engines.
To me, making a hot rod Bronco Sport doesnt make sense, unless used as an AWD performance suv like the GMC Typhoon was back in the day.
No, I haven't floored in this one yet. But in my 22 Badlands I remember that basically after like half throttle it like didn't make a difference and also up in the higher RPMs and I think it was mostly because of how small the turbine housing was and it just couldn't flow anymore than that and I mean the turbine will only compressor will work pretty small too.
And that's perfectly fine for what it was as a daily driver, but the way that my escape drove was just so awesome. If I could get that and have the off-road stuff of the broncos sport instead of it being a 10 out of 10 it would be like a 15 out of 10 car and just super amazing. And again, I just can't leave s*** alone. But it's almost moot because again I won't be able to do this for quite a while.
