You could try getting a tune and forego the turbo upgrade, depending on the level of tune you can get some good numbers out of the Ecoboost engines.
To me, making a hot rod Bronco Sport doesnt make sense, unless used as an AWD performance suv like the GMC Typhoon was back in the day.
Yeah with a tuner on these ecoboost you really can get a decent amount of extra power but since I'm going for the largest tires possible and since they're going to be basically a hybrid almost a mud terrain I don't think a tune would be even enough to make up for what I would lose with going to the bigger tires let alone making more power. Yeah I don't want it to be a hot rod no I don't want it to really affect my miles per gallon or as little as possible but I do wanted to be a little bit faster than it is.

No, I haven't floored in this one yet. But in my 22 Badlands I remember that basically after like half throttle it like didn't make a difference and also up in the higher RPMs and I think it was mostly because of how small the turbine housing was and it just couldn't flow anymore than that and I mean the turbine will only compressor will work pretty small too.

And that's perfectly fine for what it was as a daily driver, but the way that my escape drove was just so awesome. If I could get that and have the off-road stuff of the broncos sport instead of it being a 10 out of 10 it would be like a 15 out of 10 car and just super amazing. And again, I just can't leave s*** alone. But it's almost moot because again I won't be able to do this for quite a while.

Definitely interested in the follow-up with your mods.
255/75's will require trimming the pinch weld which I guess i wouldn't have a problem with.
I've been running 245/65 cooper discoverer at3's (a great tire) that have made me hydroplane and float on snow because of it being such a light vehicle.
I had the HRG 1.5 on an OB so now with the BL I'm probably getting the HRG 1.25 and they said they could sell me an extra plate in the front to level somewhat. I was thinking about 235/70's that wouldn't rub. But then I saw these. A good merge of AT and mud.

Yeah those actually look like a decent trade-off and they actually have some sidewall tread which is one thing I loved about the falcon ATW3s, although more so in the aftermarket than the ones that come on ours, those things are tiny on the Ford version. But I really want to go stress as I can while still being somewhat daily. Driver-ish and in my opinion that's the DuraTrax or I've been looking at the Mickey Thompson Baja legend EXPs. I think it is, but there's not as much info and personal reviews on those and if the manufacturer can put duratracs on stock (I know only on special off-road trims but still) then I think it would do pretty good for me, but I'm also a sucker for a deal so I'll have to see what prices and deals are when I buy them.

I was gonna do duratracs on my fullsize bronco but found some 2nd tier tires that were a decent copy of them for like $60 a tire less and I got those and they worked great though a little bouncy, but running like 8 psi less air helped a lot. Those were Delium Terra Raiders but I only put like 1000 miles on them too and they were closer to a true mud terrain.

Unfortunately, the biggest size tires you can fit on a BS are not really that big, and the 2.0 has enough power for those tire sizes.

I don't know if you've seen the Vivid Racing tune, for an ECU tune it's looks impressive.
Check out the dyno plot.

Yeah but it's more about getting to that couple inches more of clearance than huge tires.

Yeah I've seen the the vivid but they have to take your ECU and while their local I don't like that. I'll probably just go with forced tuning since I've had them and they know the 2.0 and I still have my escape SCT X4 it's just locked to the old escape cuz it was totaled and I couldn't get it to go back in park to unlock it but SCT says they will unlock it for free if I send the accident report I've just been busy with other stuff. I'm just hoping he'll make some canned tunes for the 2.0 sport so I don't have to pay the 250 for a custom. At least not until/if I need a custom tune.

I've actually been looking at air suspension the past two days cuz people have done it on escapes and that would work a lot better for me and my old doggy, but damn it's expensive and I've never messed with that stuff so probably not, but it's nice to dream.
And I don't mean slamming it but doing like on the dodge rams and grand Cherokees where it can lower like 2 inches and raise a few inches, I almost got a ram rebel or limited instead of the heritage for that but they were just too expensive and mpg wasn't quite there, and other stuff like I love the sport so much.
