After much debate between 60” and 53”, I decided I wanted 60” bars. I liked the Thule style more than the Yakima style, so I ordered the 60” Wingbar Evo kit assuming I wouldn’t have any issues with the fit.

However, the notches for the feet are a few inchea short and I can’t get the feet close enough together to grab the rails on either the front or the back bars.

Has anyone else fit the 60” Thule bars on a Bronco Sport? Right now I’m leaning towards cutting the notch for the feet a few inches longer on each side, but I’m a novice at metal cutting and not sure what the best path forward is. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I’m not familiar with how those ones work. I’m using the rapid crossroads. You’ll have to see if anyone is using those ones and has an idea, or return them and get the crossroads.

Are you using a crossroads foot set with the Wingbar Evo 60” bar?

53”, but from what I can gather about the raised rails vs. the rapid crossroads is that the crossroads may give you some more flexibility on the distance due to how they wrap around the roof rails as opposed to grabbing or latching onto the rail.
