Transmission shudder

So frustrated. Had this issue and took it to my mechanic. He said hm with a vehicle this new the transmission shouldn't be going so he called the Ford Parts department and they said it was a direct result of the open recall Ford hasn't been able to repair since last summer. Now the best Ford is offering- despite the recall - is 60% off a new transmission. I've had Ford transmissions last over 170k miles, this is obviously a defect and they won't honor it. Does anyone have a Bronco yet with over 100k miles? I kind of feel like I should just trade it in and jump ship from Bronco while I still can get a good trade in value for it.

Recall #25S76 is for 1.5L engines (cracked fuel injectors), needs to have the drain tube installed if not already completed and various PCM Programming which is still an open issue)

Not sure how that recall relates to the transmission issue you mentioned
