Yesterday I got my first flat. I got the tire replaced. But now I'm finding out since the BS are all wheel drive that I probably should have replaced all four tires. Is there anyone that has experienced this, and if so what did you do? Also if you replaced them what did you replace them with.

A couple of questions. How many miles do you have on the tires and what brand what brand and type do you have on the other three?

Hey Bigband, I have around 20,800 miles. It has Michelin Primacy 225/60R18 the original tires my bronco sport came with.

With AWD vehicles you should replace the tire with the same tire if possible to avoid any steering issues such as pulling. As to whether to replace all the tires at the same time that is usually dependent on how much tread is remaining on the existing tires compared to the new tire. Usually 3-4/32 tread depth difference would be reason to replace all the tires at the same time.

I'd replace at least the other front/rear tire with the flat at a minimum. At 20k miles you should have a decent amount of tread left. You could try and sell the three remaining on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace and use this as a time to replace all 4.

So many opinions on how to handle this best. Depends on your financial situation as well if you can afford/want to replace all 4 or just 2 at the moment.

It's not really a four-wheel drive vehicle. It's nominally a front-wheel drive with a system to get power to the rear wheels when the front wheels lose traction. Given that, you don't need to replace all four, just the other tire on the same axle. Depending on how much tread was left, it may be worth it to just replace all four because you will have to replace the tires on the other axle soon anyway.

Used tires are also a thing. Maybe you can find a dealer or a junkyard parting out a Sport. Then you can get 1 tire with similar mileage to the other three and save the new one to install in another 20-30k.
