My 24 BS Badlands came with the rubber seat back protectors for both sides. It was a real pain to snap them to the seat backs. It was listed on the window sticker under interior (no extra charge) as Rear Seat - Rubber Back. I wonder if it is standard on all BS trim. I have seen them on Big Bends also. If they are optional on some of the trims do the rear seat backs come standard with the snap that the rubber back is snapped Ito to secure it?
There's an older thread here somewhere saying that the snaps are on the seatbacks, but there is a cover that needs to be pried off before the rubber seatbacks are attached.

I had no covers on the seat back snaps. The rubber setbacks were just in a plastic bag in the trunk and the seat backs had the snaps attached so I only had to snap in the rubber backs. It took a lot of pressure to snap the rubber backs in.

My rubber seatbacks were installed by my dealer before final delivery, but they were unable to fasten a couple of the snaps. I was able to snap those myself once I warmed up the car.

Best practice would be to set the rubber seat backs out in the sun for an hour or so before attempting installation.

My new car delivery was in January in New Jersey. Not much sunshine to heat up the rubber seat backs. :)

Yes, they were a little tough to snap.

We also had trouble getting all of the snaps in position.

IIRC, I used my super-human strength to get them in place, but a hair dryer/heat gun might make it easier.

Yep, I wasn't sure I was going to get them on.

I forgot about heating them up, and went ahead and snapped off the clips covering the snaps, and started attaching them to the back of the seats. I remembered as I started and wondered if I was going to run into any issues getting them on.

However, they went on perfectly, without any straining or effort. Snapped right on. All-in-all it took me about 5 minutes, including taking off the snap covers with a flat head screwdriver.

BuiltRight Industries makes full MOLLE panels for the rear seat backs. They are extremely secure, with full Velcro backing, and they snap into the factory snaps.
