Have you received a build date and VIN yet?Welcome to the time suck! This is my 4th week and I know I have a lot longer to go. lol!
I'm guessing since Ford has not scheduled for production any Bronco Sports in the last month he hasn't. Ford announced Friday that they will begin scheduling for production this week for builds in May. Hopefully that means that orders placed in December and January will be getting build dates soon. And realizing that this is for both dealer and customer orders and at the mercy of supply constraints.Have you received a build date and VIN yet?
They scheduled 3 weeks in May last week. As for the JiT model, I have a friend who shuns it for his business, but even he is running into problems now that we're greater than 2 years into this mess. He's just worked right through all the stock he had and is having difficulty replenishing.I'm guessing since Ford has not scheduled for production any Bronco Sports in the last month he hasn't. This has got to be a nightmare for Ford with their just in time supply model, with deliveries of build components not showing up, delayed, or cancelled. It is not just chips, but also vendor supplied parts.
Good luck. I got my May production email the first week in March for my late December order. Itâs worse than playing the odds in Vegas on whether youâll get a production date.I'm guessing since Ford has not scheduled for production any Bronco Sports in the last month he hasn't. You're lucky (compared to me) head to Vegas!Good luck. I got my May production email the first week in March for my late December order. Itâs worse than playing the odds in Vegas on whether youâll get a production date.
The dealer I ordered mine through has anywhere from 10-15 on the lot, one BL the rest are BB or OB. In checking their window stickers, they are all but one from the chip hold batches at the end of last year. You're lucky (compared to me) head to Vegas!
Similar content, just no moonroof, and nothing since order confirmation 12/13.
Spent some time looking at dealer stock / window stickers last night, quite a few. Not just my area, looked Statewide, even crossed the lake to WI. Very few Badlands, some but very few, and the ones found were with few options. None with 360 Plus or Tow, one or two with Premium, other than that maybe floor mats. Noticed a huge increase in on-line stock for Big Bend and Outer Banks models over previous weeks. Most had build dates on the stickers ranging from last week of Feb to Mid March. Same on the BB and OB models, no Tow Pkg and no 360+. Basically looked like they were running low optioned BB and OB models. Probably to keep the plant going based on what part inventory they can get.
How about early November orders??. ?I'm guessing since Ford has not scheduled for production any Bronco Sports in the last month he hasn't. Honestly, Ford needs to deal with this. They reached out to Maverick order holders and told them what had to be given up to get their rigs into production. I would not mind getting some real production data to look at to help understand what is going on. At the very least @Ford Motor Company needs to give us some information on which to make rational choices. How about early November orders??. ?
It was sad looking at some dealers inventory. I'm aware of large Metro dealers from previous purchases, but no longer in areas. The large dealers have had inventory of BB & OB's all along and a BL or two. Was noticing the new window stickers on more rural / smaller dealers sites. Felt sorry for a couple - maybe only 3 or 4 new vehicles period of any Ford product. One had 3 vehicles, all used - one a rusty 2008 Econoline. The dealer I ordered mine through has anywhere from 10-15 on the lot, one BL the rest are BB or OB. Did you get an Order Confirmation Email from Ford in November? Or at any time for that matter. How about early November orders??. ?
Hope you hear something soon. Best of luck!So youâre right, there are differencesâŠwe do not get the email interface that US customers get (maybe for the better?).
Weâve ordered from a high volume, respected dealerâŠthey have had very few BSâs come through since 2021âŠ
The order is in and now a âpriority 10â so letâs see what happens this weekâŠ
I had a great order experience at Prince Frederick Ford in Maryland. I placed my order, paid my deposit, had my drivers license copied and received an order confirmation email from Ford before I got home. But, there people who ordered when the 22 banks opened who still haven't been scheduled for production. A lot of them (and some people who ordered fairly recently) with lots of options and packages are getting emails from Ford letting them know they haven't been completely forgotten.
When did you submit your order through the dealer? I hadn't even left the lot yet when I got the confirmation from Ford. Also, did the dealer have you sign a build form, take a copy of your driver's license, and have you pay a deposit? Without those three things Ford will not verify the order and it won't get scheduled.
