The title says it all. The Moonroof, which I rarely open started vibrating loudly when I go above 20 mph or there abouts. My husband opened it while we were driving and some small, spent male pine flowers fell on us. There are none in the track, and probably never were, more likely just sitting on the roof. It still vibrates. The faster I go, the louder the vibration. I worry that the next step is a sunroof explosion.

Any thoughts? I am guessing the dealer will be stumped unless I provide clues, and I can't get in for two weeks. I would prefer to be driving my BS for those summer weeks, not avoiding using it because of potential danger.

Have reached threads but did not find this.

Thanks!

I had a similar issue where from 80kmh plus it sounded like I had a methed up hummingbird or coked out bumblebee in the headliner ? Started the first winter after owning my new BS. Sent it to the dealership with this description and it turned out the gasket between the windshield area and sunroof had come loose. Easy fix for free and a new windshield because they broke mine while fixing the gasket ?

Mine did this but would quiet around 45 mph. I showed the service writer a video and they had it for 2 days the replaced the track and something else and it hasn't done it since.
