Sudden ABS light came on, BRONCO SPORT WILDTRAK (BADLANDS)

(2023 Bronco Sport Badlands(wildtrak) , about 13,000 miles). I was driving down the highway when all of a sudden my ABS light came on, (NO red brake light) along with other warnings:
-ABS fault
-4wd off
-Pre-Collision assist off
-hill assist off
-parking assist off
-Service Advancetrac
My steering also became tight.

I saw this happened already to others, but I don't really know what could cause this problem. warranty should cover it but it would be nice to know the reason.

anybody can help with this? thank you!

thank you! already tried disconnecting the battery and replacing fuse, on Monday it goes to ford workshop

I had this issue with my Ford Escape. The problem was a cracked ABS tone ring. I fixed it myself but it required taking one side of the axle off and pressing a new tone ring on the axle. If it is still under warranty, have your dealer do it.

I experienced the same issue. I drove immediately to my dealer who diagnosed it as a minor software problem. After turning the engine off and then restarting the engine, the problem resolved itself and I have had no further issues over the past few months.

I tried disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes, but it still has the failure. thank you anyways!

Any updates? I am expereincing this exact same thing as you are. Mine came on for a while then suddenly went away. Now its not coming on in the morning but as i drive it around town, it will eventually comes on and stays on until the next morning. It sucks because the road to my house is dirt and uphill. The front wheels alone cant get me up the hill.

Experienced the same issue with my 2022 Big Bend today. No abs light but a yellow light that showed like an electric fault on the awd system, then hill assist dissabled, goat modes not available, pre collision assist not available, then the service wrench lit! Last week they replaced the RDU fluid since there was the shudder issue. It fixed it. Also had the PCM and bcu reprogram. Plus got a new AGM battery a month ago. Happened twice. Took to the dealer this evening. They started the car and there were no malfunction lights on. Even goat modes were available. Will see what happened tomorrow and if they can pull out some codes.
