Small hole above driver’s sunshade?

Hi all,

This has probably been asked before, but was wondering if anyone knew what this small hole above the driver’s sunshade is. Not that it probably matters, but I have a ‘22 Outer Banks. Microphone, possibly?

Button on the steering wheel with the mouth spitting. This is where I tell Siri to open my garage door. She doesn’t always listen to me but neither does my wife.

I’m sure there are people on here with it taped over. I see people with their cameras taped over and Alexa’s on mute. Yet, they are religiously on their phones!
