For those of you that replaced the splash guard under the engine with a skid plate , what did you go with ?
I was thinking about the Revel aluminum one. I've been driving some rough roads, and the plastic oil pan and plug don't inspire confidence.
Changing the plastic pan out for a metal one will cut down on the available brands, I saw where the Revel wouldn't work with an aftermarket pan.
But the skid plate would protect more than just the oil pan.
What one do you like and why ?
