Side steps options? Anyone install IBoard IB-FR310A?

New here, have a 2023 BS OBX. Need to install a set of side steps, wife has bad back and needs the extra step. Has anyone installed the IBoard IB-FR310A side steps?

Just offering a cheaper alternative. We use this for my elderly mother and it works great. Certainly cheaper too.

Good idea. Also offers more ground clearance if you decide to take it off road.

Congrats on the new Bronco! Welcome to the forum. I went and looked up those side steps you were referring to and yes they will work. You can find a local fabrication shop or 4Wheel Parts stores to install whatever side steps you want within the space of the wheels. In my opinion those things are… not so attractive and would really take away from the beauty of the vehicle. You’ve spent roughly 40k on a beast of a vehicle. Do it right.

Thanks for info, but I need the 6 inch width for secure step and I don't want to spend tons of money. I plan on installing them myself.

Here are the RC ones installed. These pics from the day after install. That was 1 year ago. They are holding up well. $330.00 and I installed them with my son.

Hi everybody,

Just took over my wifes 21 Badlands and bought her a new big bend with the sunroof she wanted......I bought some side rails but cant find any videos for installation on the sport...only the big bronco.....does anybody know where a video is for the nerf bars:

The side steps were a bear to install. First of all I had to work on the ground with just about 8 inches lift from ramps. The J-bolts were difficult to keep in place while tightening them. The fiber board protection panels need to be trimmed to fit around the sidestep brackets (I left them off for now). Parts of the black plastic side trim needed to be trimmed to allow mounting brackets to seat properly. Finally, after about a month the end caps started to show corrosion. I contacted Amazon, who put me in touch with the seller. After providing picture evidence of corrosion, the seller refunded my money and allowed me to keep the sidesteps.
