Side Mirror Replacement Discontinued?

I'm in need of replacing just the mirror of my passenger side on my 2023 Bronco Sport; however came across on Ford OEM parts online that this specific mirror is discontinued.

Is this customary for a brand new Ford vehicle to already have a part that's discontinued? Or is there something I'm missing maybe?

D is Drivers side.

My guess is that Ford wants you to buy the entire assembly. Having replaced just the glass, on a 93 T-bird, it is a pain to get new glass seated properly. If it’s not seated correctly, it will jump out the first time you try to adjust it.

Ah that’s upsetting… that’s a pretty big difference in price and a little frustrating, but nonetheless I appreciate the answer!
