Ford Bronco Sport Seat mount cover sharp edges 1628481054634

This plastic cover on the driver's seat is very sharp and I've cut the back of my leg on it several times. Enough to draw blood. Any way I can soften that edge? Saturday night it got me big time and my shoe was full of blood!!!

Either mold edge (welcome to plastic parts) or scratched at some point during installation ? You could use successively finer grit sand paper to smooth it, but on mine I just used a strip of thin adhesive backed felt from craft or hobby store. Ran it from bottom up over top and folded it over top edges. Usually sold in small sheets so you can cut to over exact area you want. Thinner it is the better it conforms and sticks, but at least resolves the sharp edge.

Great suggestion!! Someone also suggested black pipe insulation, small size & slip it over the edge. Thanks!!
