Hello everyone! I brought home my 2022 Big Bend last week and noticed the seat belt receivers constantly banging on the console and starting to scratch.
I thought about Velcro but while searching I found what I think is a perfect solution.

These are Morlike Silicone Belt Buckle Holders and are intended to make it easier for kids to buckle up.
They are soft silicone, fit like an absolute glove and early impressions are that they will be perfect.
I do not anticipate them sliding up and down as it took some pushing to get them installed.

Steven

Pretty sure my 21 badlands has a felt type surface on the side next to console to minimize scratching.

For me, yes.
Mine had no felt on them from the factory and had already made marks on the console.

I wonder if those silicone covers will be dust collectors like the silicone keyfob covers. No scrape marks here and the belt connector is pretty far away from the console.

Good find. Mine has the felt installed. It isn't enough to stop all the scuffs. Ford needs those savings from using just 2sqin of felt instead of 3.5sqin of the material that would cover around the edges of the buckle. So I'm sadder for them than I am about the scuffing, which is livable. If I had noticed it before it started, I would have put a piece of the "loop" part of a Velcro strip on the console. I may still end up doing that because the strip would be just pennies.

What a great idea. I don't have any scratching but just used these penny size felt side velcro dots I had on hand and not the non felt side here in the pic..

I started with the idea of Velcro but wasn't sure about the summer heat.
I'm not trying to sell the darn things. Promise :)

Velcro should hold as the velcro isn't holding anything.

I bought a roll of it at the home improvement store and just keep it on hand. The roll is 2 or three inches wide and fifteen feet long or some such thing. This stuff is crazy useful for a lot of stuff around the house. Nightlight mounts. Remotes. GDO's. Etc. I use way more of the loop/soft side than the hook side. I had a strip on the window sill of my truck for over 10 years and it never came off or slipped in hot weather. I used it as a softer armrest than the plastic door.
