rear window

I went for my service yesterday and on the way I noticed about half of my rear window defonger traces are not working. nothing I can see for dammage, they checked it out and are going to order in new glass and wiper arm and nut and change it out under warenty, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this?

yeah mine is half out. I checked it with a multimeter and found that there's several little spots of corrosion within the lines hindering current. I'm kinda po'd about that. I've never had this happen before but it appears that there are repair kits for this.

ahh that makes sence. ya there are repair kits for where you can see visable damage. you tap and paint the new sections of lines to repair breaks. it would probably be a pain to find internal spots that you can't see though.
