I have a 2024 Badlands and I am trying to get access to the factory sub so that I can tap into the wiring to wire in a larger sub and amp. Does anyone know if the entire panel needs to come off? If so, does anything have tips on how? If not, can you just remove the panel where the sub is? How is it fastened? Thanks!

You can access the wire underneath the car. BUT after doing that, I was not satisfied with how the Radio assigns the bass. I tapped into the front door speakers, ran the wires to the rear to a bass processor/line output converter, into a 200x2 amp to a dual voice coil bazooka 8 inch sub. Completely satisfied. It will rattle the windows in the BS without rattling the windows in the cars next to you. Also have all speakers changed to Kicker 675 coax speakers. Amped to 100x4. Used Bass Caps (to reduce the extreme low bass notes since I have a sub), at the positive terminal. Cleaned up the sound really well. I have the B&O systems and the speakers were still crap.
