Scratch that idea, the light socket has a swivel to move the light around.

I had one pop out in the first few months while I was offroading, but it wasn't too far gone and I was able to shimmy it back into place. Hasn't happened again since.

Those lights are one of the best features of the BS, every SUV should have them. They make loading in the dark so much easier and they are super handy for camping.
