Today (10/10/24), I started getting this message, along with the yellow airbag icon on the instrument panel on my 2021 Bronco Sport Outer Banks. On my approximately 37 mile commute into work, the warning popped up and chimed a total of 12 times.

I've already had the most system updates, when they came out a couple of months ago.

What would be my next steps? Take it to the dealer? Battery was replaced in August 2023.

Should I be worried that something else is going to go wrong and make the vehicle undrivable? Shut down on the freeway?

Hi there! This concern with your warning message doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience. Please send us a private message including your VIN and local Ford dealer so we can investigate further. Thanks!

Likely is no issue with driving it until you can schedule a visit with the dealership but talk with a service advisor to confirm that… there are several possible causes (can be an issue with a rear seat belt or a front seat belt etc)… here’s a search which you can find other owners experiences with that message

Our 2021 BS OBX had the same error. It turned out to be a defective driver's seat belt buckle.

Yep, same here. It also killed my adaptive cruse control and lane centering.

Everything was normal after replacing the driver's seat buckle, even though is said the rear belt was at fault.

Driving home from work last night, I had no issues. No warning lights or anything. I will keep you posted if it happens again.
