I really would like to warn anyone with the 1.5L, mine is a 2021 SPort, about the RDU issue a lot of them seem to be having. And if you are out of warranty period, dealer and Ford don't really care, you have to pay to fix this known issue. Mine needs totally replaced, as they tried the new vent replacement and that didn't work.
I have gotten three different quotes from the dealer. After the second one, I asked them to call Ford financial assist. as sometimes Ford will help. They then raised their quote by another $800, I have no idea why. The dealer has not been very responsive, does not seem knowledgeable about the process, and I they have had my vehicle for 10 days with no progress.
I urge you to get your RDU checked, replaced before your warranty expires, as it is expensive, and really I feel should be a recall issue. More than one dealer I have spoken to says they have had many to repair, but most under warranty. I paid out of pocket a few hundred dollars for the faulty vent already.
My last Ford had an engine recall, and the whole engine went out and needed replaced. Thankfully it was a Recall, and I traded it for this Bronco. Loved the Bronco, but did not expect another major problem with Ford.
