Hello

Has anyone experienced a similar issue with almost instantaneous overheating alarm.
It happens when I am transporting three or more people, going highway speed on a long continuous uphill. Looks like happens over 4000 RPMs.
The gauge spikes and goes down to normal at the moment I release the gas pedal.
In a more recent situation the engine went limp mode. Turned off and on after a couple of minutes a temperature was normal again.
I was thinking could be a Turbo charged related issue sending high temperature coolant back to the circuit. I looked and the head temperature sensor is close to the turbo coolant discharge

Any help is much appreciated

I looked to the oil and coolant and looked ok to me. I have an appointment on the dealer on Dec 20. I hope they can find the root course but anyway I will ask for coolant and oil change

I’m voting sensor issue somehow, heating that much engine coolant that fast isn’t going to happen repeatedly.
