So I'm at Sanderson Ford in Phoenix which is my favorite dealership and one of the only ones that'll actually go to by the way.
I'm using up my points for service since it's free and I'm having them do the service right now. I normally do it myself but I found them to be acceptable so far to do it. And since I'm at 30,000 mi, I ask them to do the PTU and the rear diff and the rear diff is $190 which seems a little high for me. But since I'm getting it done for free basically I don't care. The PTU was supposed to be about the same price but then when the tech actually went to do it they said that actually it would be $424 cuz they have to take off the cooler and the lines and there are some gaskets and bolts and so they'd have to be replaced. So I just wanted to give people a warning. If they're planning on getting that done at the dealer it's going to be more. Here's the text he sent me and they were very up front. They told me before they did it. That's one of the reasons why I go to them. But if You plan on having the dealer do your service. Just make sure and check pricing with them. And for the PTU fluid make sure that you know what it's actually going to cost.
Also, I was looking at some of the prices and for a Badlands which I believe only had the falcon tires as an option and then for some reason $1,000 for the paint color. It was $42,000 before tax title and tag which I know is going to be about three grand on that. But I got a 22 bronco sport Badlands with premium package and fallen tires for iirc $39700 before tt&l which was just over $43,000 out the door so prices have gone up about $2500 it seems on the Badlands since 22.
I also looked at the multitude of bronco raptors and they were all like $95,000 before tt&l which is probably why there are so many and Sanderson doesn't do markups so that is MSRP at least but a badlands bronco without options is like just under $50,000 which is about the same except not as fancy fox suspension or super wide body kit so why? You could just about get two badlands for one raptor and unless ur running the Baja 1000 I doubt you'd know the difference except the raptor is harder to drive in daily use cuz it's so wide and tall. Anyways just ranting.
