I'm almost at the 36,000 mile mark, so obviously the bumper to bumper warranty will soon expire. I received an email stating that since my warranty will expire soon, I can purchase an extended warranty, but on a month to month basis. It basically seems like a subscription service to me. Pay 25 bucks a month and it covers everything the standard Premium Care covers up to 160,000 miles. States you can cancel at any time, but can't restart it after it's been canceled. Has anybody signed up for this? I'm sure getting the extended warranty at the time of purchase is a better deal, but I didn't get it and this doesn't seem like a terrible deal for the peace of mind it will offer. Any opinions appreciated!

Was this an official Ford email? I was under the impression Fords maximum coverage was 8yr/150k miles. Also they have a payment plan but it's not a subscription, It's just equal payments to pay off the service contract. $25 a month is intriguing, please provide a link or more info.

Yeah, it was a ford email. Here's a link to the information. Starts at 19.99 a month but the price increases as the deductible decreases. Premium Care Flex
