Powertrain warranty question

Hi! Question…. I was told my bronco sport tsb to replace the vent hose and fluid was not covered by my powertrain warranty… is this correct? If they told me it was leaking fluid, why would that not be covered… I’m under the impression that powertrain includes anything that requires oil or fluid, correct? Thanks!

The RDU VENT HOSE and fluid is not specifically called out in the 5yr / 60k warranty however you stated there is a leak and to me you should be covered (but that’s me so doesn’t count - you should have a discussion about the leak with Ford Customer Service +1 (866) 436-7332)

I just had mine repaired on our OuterBanks. It was covered and there was no charge for the service call. I had to wait for parts and a service opening but all went well. I was just under the 3 year, 36,000 mile coverage by 3 weeks and 3,000 miles. I did buy an extended warranty through the dealer. Another 5 years and 100,000 miles.
