Parts Delay?

Good Morning!

Got to ask, is anyone else experiencing a delay on parts from Ford? I believe from the factory.

Beginning of Feb, my husband hit a deer with my Bronco Sport. Thankfully it wasn’t totaled, however it caused about $9k in damages. Anyways flash forward to March 18th, the last part the shop needs is my bumper, which was on back order until March 18th. As of today April 7th, my bumper is still on back order with no real eta as my car continues to sit at the shop.

Super frustrating since I ran out of rental allowance and my husband is about to trade in his car I have been driving for his new Big Bronco…that just got shipped…that I can’t even drive…because it’s a stick.

I want my Baby Bronco back ?

Not on the Sport, but my explorer spent most of the winter without heat after a thermostat went out on it. My dealer was great to work with, but the part was just backordered forever. Thankfully it didn’t take me off the road though like yours. I hope you’re able to get back on the road soon! It’s odd parts that don’t seem to have any ties to known shortages. Funny what isn’t available nowadays for parts.

I ordered a hitch and rear bumper and it took about 2 months to come in from order date
