Information I have gathered is that it happens when they transport the vehicle.

I thought the dealer was supposed to correct such issues before delivery to the customer?

I guess they don’t be checking them that good. I had to pick mine up at the lot. I saw the one and they said it would look weird to repaint the area due to factory paint. So I touched it up and looks fine. I just saw these on the inside panel and that’s what got me mad.

If my Badlands has paint chips and other issues, I’ll give my dealer one week to fix them properly before I walk. I am not putting up with defective paint from day one.

The sad part is, with how scarce these vehicles are. They "could" let you walk and sell it to someone else for even more.

Though I would be displeased as well, I would definitely note it on the delivery and ask them to fix it before I leave with it and bring it back later when they are ready.

No way I will end up waiting another 6+ months only for the next vehicle to have a few tiny chips.

Don’t worry about it because these vehicles are known to chip easily and you’ll have many of them. Everyone should take a close look around your headlights. You’ll see chips there and may even see paint peeling as well.

I don’t see any peeling on mine yet. Is this with the 2022 Bronco Sport as well?

Bronco Sports, PERIOD, have crap paint and bad QC with regards to paint.

That sucks. Seems to me they’re going to check and fix my situation because it’s not normal. I will do an update on the 27th.

If it's prior to delivery I'm sure they'll do the right thing.

BUT, the minute you drive off you'll find a crap tone. I just found one more on the corner of the hatch near where it meets the taillight. I've all but given up on the paint.

I pointed it out when I was on the lot and took pictures while on their lot so I have proof. So we will see.

Yeah. I did that on the trunk but going to see what they will do for the inside. I have an appointment and they told me should be covered so we will see
