Any suggestions on what to do with a P0841 code. The transmission just got fresh fluid at 59700 and now it keeps lagging or just won’t shift from time to time. Won’t go into reverse. Have to shut the car off completely then maybe it will go in reverse. Getting pretty dangerous. Taken it in 3 times now once to get the oil and trans fluid change. Now it’s runs awful. Any suggestions. The shop says they have no idea but maybe a transmission fluid pressure sensor. Any help would be greatly appreciated here!

Did you get a drain and fill or did you get a transmission fluid flush?

It is not recommended to do a transmission fluid flush on the 8F35 transmission. A drain and fill or a back to back drain and fill are recommended.

It was just a drain and fill.

Unfortunately with the code and symptoms you discribe usually points to the transmission fluid pressure sensor. There have been other posts on the board with others that have had the same issue, I don't recall hearing the problem showing up right after a transmission fluid change.
For some others it was coverd by the powertrain warranty, which for you is close to expiring unless you have an extended warranty. You'll also need an official diagnosis from Ford.

Could possibly be the gear selector assembly.
