Ordered a Bronco Sport Outer Banks

So how does one get an order into the order bank? I've had 3 dealers tell me it ain't open.

So how does one get an order into the order bank? I've had 3 dealers tell me it ain't open.

Tell dealer you want a Bronco SPORT not the big Bronco. Big Bronco order banks have been delayed but SPORT ordering is open.

I give up. But thanks guys. I know what I'm talking about and clearly asked about the Sport. The 2023 model year of course. I'm 0-3 in dealer calls, 1 of which I fully trust and have bought from for years. Maybe open only for certain States? If you have a dealer I can call please do send along.

Hello. Newcomer here. I'm also known as MightyMaverick on the Maverick forum but have just now joined the Bronco Sport forum because I recently ordered a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport as well. This will not be my car per se, this will be for my mom. We ordered her an Area 51 Outer Banks to match my Area 51 Maverick Lariat. I know this sounds corny but this has been a dream of mine ever since both of these vehicles came out. I've always wanted to have a Maverick and Bronco Sport together so eventually that dream will come true. Now, I don't expect to see it anytime soon. My guess is with supply constraints and the semiconductor chip shortage not getting any better, it will be half a year+. To get some perspective, does anyone know the common wait time for a Bronco Sport order, particularly an Outer Banks trim? The only add-on we have is the technology package (B&O sound system, HD Radio, Wireless Charging, and Homelink) I'm assuming the Bronco Sport is a little more attainable than the Maverick but I could be wrong since it's very sought-after and the fact it's made in the same factory as the Maverick. Whatever the case maybe, I sure cannot wait to get it after almost two years of drooling over them on the road. My mom and I fell in love with them since the day I saw the first pictures. The first time we saw a new Ford Maverick was early in Feb 2022. I had to explain the new model to my wife because she used to drive the Maverick car version 40 yrs ago. Saw one around town here a few months ago...the Area 51 color caught my eye as it drove by. The color looks really good on the Maverick; OK I'm a little biased as I have an Area 51 BS Big Bend. Your family is going to be thrilled with the new vehicle purchases!

I ordered an outer banks with 360+ and everything but the moon roof and the cargo management system on February 28th. Arrived at dealership on August 9th.
