OBDII scanner

I purchased an Ultra-Gauge to plug into th OBDII port - all it does is scan and will not connect to the vehicle. Is the 2025 Model Year a different protocol and will not work with ODBII scanners.

Put the Ultra-Guage in my wife’s ‘23 Maverick w/2.0l motor is connected. The ‘23 Maverick and ‘25 BL are 2.0l but completely different. So I bet Ford changed the protocols.

Ford doesn’t control the protocols for ODBII, it’s an international standard. It’s more likely that the database of your scanner hasn’t been updated to include 2025’s.

FORScan still hasn’t updated their database yet for the ‘25’s, either.
