Hi all,

I have the B&O system and adding the list below. So far, the sub and LoC turn on but no sound comes out the amp.
  • Cerwin Vega spare tire sub with 8 awg to battery
  • Tapping into speaker wire in B pillar to LoC for RCA connections to sub
  • LC2i LoC powered by fuse tap from passenger side fuse box
For the passenger rear door speakers, I took off the door panel and saw that there are two speakers, small and large. I thought the small speaker was a tweeter but both speaker connections had the same wire color combinations. But when I check the wire harness in the B pillar, the blue is now light blue instead of dark blue (these were stranded together). Was this the right wire to tap for the bass signal or did I somehow get the tweeters?

Any other reason why there is no sound? (I've only done the right door speakers but I connected them to both L and R and also jumped them to get both connections in there. I hope to do the driver side speakers soon).

Lights on the sub and LoC are on, there are slight bump sounds when I move the wires around but nothing with the music. Forgive the one botched wire, I accidental cut open the window switch wire!

Thanks!

Finally figured it out... the EQ on the head unit for bass was set to zero so there was no low signal making it to the sub. Looks like the brown light blue wire was OK to tap. Nice to have some extra power to the B&O.

The rear door driver side wires for the small speaker and larger speaker were also the same. I've got this chart from Crutchfield for the wire colors for both B&O amp and standard set up radio outputs.

I was wondering about doing the same, but was going to tap into the rear B&O sub high level output instead. Thoughts on this?
