New tires, new pressure?

I have Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts and I have no idea. I put them at 38 psi, but y'all are making me question that

Same tires I have. I run 29-31 psi, cold pressure.

I have 245 65R 17 tires on my Badlands, I run the standard 33 psi.
I've had the tires for 20,000 miles, they look to wear evenly and no problems with them.

Based on what I’m reading here, I would not go all the way to 33 on those. 38 seems correct but I’m not positive which tire and the max psi rating but I was assuming 245/65/17 and max 50 psi

No I haven't, I just double checked them and they are evenly worn at between 12.5 and 13/32" with 9,000 miles on them, so I'm getting about 3K miles per 1/32" Also I'm airing them down, on the trails to 24-26psi. I used the Tire Pressure calculator, posted many places, on this site and determined the calculated pressure should be 29psi, because the MT Baja Boss is an XL rated tire, with a load rating of 111.
