Just an FYI the Bronco mounting bolts behind the dash screen on the 2025 Badlands Sasquatch are M6 1.0

I ordered some Ram Mount 1” tough balls to mount my handheld GMRS radio and discovered this. I read somewhere that they were standard 1/4” 20 bolts and that’s incorrect

anyway hope to save someone else the trouble.

I’m pretty sure the BS only uses metric with the exception of the receiver. So if you’re not towing or haven’t added any accessories made in Freedom Units, you shouldn’t need to carry any tools in SAE/Imperial sizes.

That would be awesome but I’m still carrying both. There’s always some SAE fastener on American vehicles that pops up at the worst possible time.

My 1” ball mounts with M6 bolts arrived today. They screwed right into the dash and I mounted my handheld GMRS radio to one. Really love having included mounting points 👍🏼Ford.

I drilled a hole in the back the belt clip and bolted on a 1” ball mount to the clip

Thank you thank you thank you. You have just saved me a major Pia of returning stuff to amazon. I literally have a cart full of stuff on Amazon ready to create my own phone melt and dash cam Mount using those bolts, and it's all based off of 1/4-20.
Again thank you so much for saving me this hassle.

Oh good I was hoping someone would see this ahead of time. Here’s the M6 - 1” balls that I ordered, after returning the 1/4-20’s. The adapters that Siigna mentions will work fine too but raise everything up the height of the adapters.
