Does anyone know if we can start the BS with a manual key in case of an emergency or lost fob? I didn't see this in the manual. I used to own a Prius and Volt both with push button start and the both have a secret slot on the dashboard where you could insert a spare key to start the car manually. I always keep that spare key in my wallet in case I were to lose the fob. With the spare key I could still open the door and start the car?

You can open the door with the key in the fob. But to start it requires a fob. If the fob is dead there's a place to put the fob where the vehicle can still read it.

Unless you have the base model, then that uses a key to begin with :)

Thank you. I guess that's one way Ford will force you to buy a new fob if lost. I have an OB.
