We are in our 70’s. Call it a grandpa Bronco. The Sport didnt have the performance i want. Trying to get cab entry 2 or 3 inches lower. Dont want to modify hard parts.
options maybe:
A. Power running boards get lower than stock. how much lower?
B. 255/70r18 tires swap for lower profile (fatty) tire to get another inch using the factory alum rims. Anybody done this? What size did you use?

I think power steps would be your best bet, you wouldnt get that much difference in height changing tire diameter unless you wanted to run really low profile tires which would make your Bronco look kind of funny.
Besides replacing the tires would cost almost the same as some of the power steps that are out there.
