One would think so but it was just my word against a pressure test that didn't show any loss. That is why I am documenting with photos and dates. The next time I take it in I will wait until it gets to minimum. I will have the starting photo and possibly the oil test to prove my case. More to come for sure.

I had my engine coolant system pressure tested at a local dealer the other day. The test didn't show any pressure loss so nothing came of it. The next day I added about 4 ounces of coolant, snapped a photo, dated it with the mileage and will monitor for more coolant loss. The system loses approximately 4 to 6 ounces of coolant every 1500 miles. There's no signs of leaks anywhere, no odor, nothing. I will have the the oil tested when I do the my next service to check for any coolant intrusion into the block. Other than that if the leak cannot be identified, Ford cannot fix it. I'm only 11K from the Powertrain Warranty expiring so I hope I can validate the coolant loss before it hits 60K.
This is frustrating as I know it is leaking but without proof there is nothing I can do but wait and hopefully be able to have enough evidence to capture a covered warranty repair.
Hi Harold! I can look into your Bronco's concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Bronco's VIN?

Antifreeze is florescent. See if your mom still has your old black lights stored in the basement. Any leaks should be easy to spot.

I will mention it to Ford, I would imagine the tech did that during the test, maybe not. I'm expecting an endoscope in the mail today so I'll look in those hard to see areas under the pulley and everywhere else.

Hi . I purchased a 2021 base Bronco Sport in March . Now that hot weather is here. I'm losing coolant at an alarming rate. I saw a post mentioning a zip tie. But where exactly does it go and should I even attempt this . Wouldn't the warranty cover this ? Can I zip tie a hose ? I'm guessing that's where a zip tie would go. Also I'm pretty mechanically illiterate. Thanks
There is a TSB for the water pump failure on the Bronco Sport 1.5 engines. Ford replaced mine at 48,000 miles no charge. It was loosing coolant at the weep hole on the water pump. The reservoir was dropping on the coolant level
