Loose screw caused damage to splash guard

This is not a splash guard. This is a deflector. It deflects air around the tire/wheel assembly. These are installed forward of all four wheels.

I also experienced this and the deflector became jammed against the moving tire and tore half of the inner fender liner out and damaged the front bumper. All because of a loose screw. See attached link regarding previous thread.

I just checked mine and yep, both front deflectors had loose screws. All 3. I also tightened the rear ones, but I could only tighten one on each. I'm sorry for your mishap, hopefully you can get resolution from the dealer or, maybe try Ford customer relations. Isn't the warranty for the Ford Bronco Sport a 36 month/36,000 mile Bumper to Bumper? As far as I can tell, the wheel wells fall somewhere between the bumpers, so what's up with that? And thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.
