Installed 40 inch rough country lightbar on my badlands, I have a turbulant sound inside the vehicle. When I touch the roof on the inside while driving I can feel the turbulance. Anyone encounter this? I do have some rubber fin inserts not installed yet, but before I do that I wanted to ask here.

Depends on the light, it’s profile etc. some will give you more than others. Is why I’ve never ran a roof light. Try readjusting it and see if it helps.

Its aimed fir optimal use, changing it would defeat its purpose thats why im hoping someone here has one installed and found a solution that avoids diminishing the lights path of illuminance

I’ve never needed anything other than headlights to wheel at night. The headlights on these are really nice in the light they throw.
I meant some roof brackets have adjustability up or down a little. Also might need a lower profile light bar or different roof brackets that move the bar some. Unless you’re doing high speed desert running, light bars aren’t needed.

I live somewhat out in the country with a few un paved roads I drive on from time to time.
Its those times where I want as much light out in front of me as possible. I have some ideas im thinking about but always better to see if others have found the solution first

Look at the jeep forums and other off-road spots about how they fixed them. Different vehicles but same issue. You’ll get more and better info there than on here.

Recently put both the RC 40 inch roof bar and the RC nudge bar. Yes the roof bar has indeed created a wind noise in a manner I wasn’t expecting. More of a deep sounding whooshing rather than a high pitched whistle. I have not put my hand on the roof to confirm. I live in a place that has 20-30 mph winds pretty consistently so even in my F-150 wind noise could be evident. But yes it has become more apparent with the roof bar. I’ve just tried turning the radio up a little and doing my best not to focus on it.

Ive seen an ad with video on what id call a lower spoiler for the setuo you and I have. It doesnt come in the correct size so if I get one id be cutting it down. Ive also seen an transparent oval cover thate encases the entire lightbar, again not in our size.
Im just seeing if its possible to lesson the turbulance a little.
Once ive finished the rest of my setup I will post up some pics
