Bronco Sport Badlands ordered in September, dealer said the car is on chip hold until Mid February. Not happy. At least it’s not baking in the August sun ? in the Sonora desert in Hermosillo, that place gets very very hot in the summer. So wondering if anyone else is in the same bad batch of Broncos or am I the lucky winner! The dealer said that the car should be at the lot by March? Maybe sooner, no guarantees.

Did you get a copy of the Vehicle Visibility Report from your dealer? The VVR will tell you exactly what the status of the vehicle is and where it is. If it is on a chip hold status, it will say that right in the report. It will also give Ford's ETA to the dealer on it.

There is a thread for chip holds here too. There was a bunch of us in that group. Mine was released but has been making a very slow journey once it was released to my dealership. Ordered 9/24.

I'm right there with you. Ordered 9/16/21, produced 12/7/21 put on chip hold. New delivery guess is 2/20/22

My tracker just updated from 2/20/22 to 4/23/22.

This is bullshit. The car was completed on 12/7/21.

My eta changed from Feb 5th to Apr 9th. They obviously have chips if they have builds scheduled for February, they just don’t want to put any in ours.
