That would be a hard no for me as well. There are much better ways in lighting to let people know you are there plus give you visibility. This just looks like something that will fail quickly IMO.

That would be a hard no for me as well. There are much better ways in lighting to let people know you are there plus give you visibility. This just looks like something that will fail quickly IMO.
I had a sandrail many years ago and these were mandatory at the sand dunes.

Weren't LED at the time but they were very durable. I'm sure they still are.

But I don't think these would be a good idea where overhead trees and obstructions are present.

I think they are meant for open area off roading. JMO

Yes, you are correct, but not lit. I was talking about the LED part, not the whip. Most off road sand dune places like Silver Lake MI and Sand Hollow UT, whip’s are mandatory but not lighted. What I meant was at night, there is better lighting to be had that allows you to be seen than this LED whip.

If I remember correctly, at Glamis, if you road at night the whip had to lit. But I could be wrong, been a long time ago.
