It is the final rail yard where the rail car unloads it for transport by truck to your dealership. There isn’t one in Maine, so it has to be somewhere else. I tagged you in a message to someone from Maine to see if they have any insight Into the delivery path.
That is definitely odd. I’ve had blank/no messages from NS, but UP has always been reliable (confusing, but reliable). If you can get a fax from UP (I broke down and had my secretary receive the fax on her computer because I don’t have fax access) it helps a little. It should have your “PlacedAtIndustry” location. I wonder if @thekingprawn might be able to help (he is probably super annoyed that I keep referencing him, but he has a lot of answers).
An owner said his final rail yard was in Massachussetts. Looks like yours will be traveling by Norfolk Southern 1(800)635-5768. Their system is glitchy. It never let me say the rail car number, had to type it, and if anybody spoke during the whole process it would get messed up.
United Road is only one carrier. Mine was never in their system either. It depends on who Ford has contracted for your area, which we can't really know.
@thekingprawn what do you think is going on with @fsjdw2 ’s BS disappearing off all rail trackers in Oklahoma? I’m concerned between that and the hold up at the plant for those awaiting shipment that the looming rail strike is an issue.
Bad data or possibly a train issue. Ford chat might (if they can be convinced to check) be able to see if there's some kind of status on the VVR with detail about a shipment problem.
I checked with ford chat last week and they didn’t have any other info than it was still in Mexico waiting to be shipped out!!
Woot! Woot!Well, Hallelujah!! Thought the day would never come. I lost FordPass access last night Mexico time around 11:30 and tracked this morning and this is what I see On both trackers! The Lone Ranger is out of the first Purgatory!!! Hopefully all of us will be shipped soon and then I may need help tracking the railroad.?? Thank you to all of my friends here that have cheered me along this last week! It has been painful! Two full months in production. Now I hope the railroad does not go on strike! Fingers crossed ?
