Sounds like I will be lucky to get mine before Christmas at this rate. I am still the Lone Ranger today?

The Eagle has landed. I repeat the Eagle has landed. Got the call this morning, now to schedule flights and all that wonderful stuff.

What are the chances the train didn’t drop off my vehicle on the way through but will drop it off on the way back to St. Louis?

Curious what was your ETA according to Ford
To be honest, I didn't bother calling them after the first debacle with their ETA being wildly off, just figured it would be a waste of time. I got the shipped notification on 8/16 so it took 14 days from showing "shipped" to arrival.

If you got a "shipped" email from ford it would have contained an ETA

The way railroads do things it's very possible. You check status enough you should have had some kind of indication that the autorack was unloaded or loaded. I only had UP info, but when the railcar went to the ramp in Portland it was "placed at industry" then I had a status of "held for offload" before the autorack went onto its next adventure. Little Wild Boar's train took the scenic route to get to him in Michigan, so direct pathing is just not really a thing for railroads.

I went back and looked at the email and it did have an eta it was 8/29-9/3 and looks like they got it right for once.

Order Track: what is the status after “in transit”?
I haven’t looked into rail car & tracked that… just glancing at OT occasionally & going by what you guys say. Trying not to get worked up over the new phase of this process. ?

Norfolk Southern doesn’t give that information. Just arrivals, departures, and scanners. Thinking about it, however, they would have left the rail car in Shelbyville to be unloaded and most likely reloaded, it would not have continued on.

My status was In Transit when dealer called said it was there. That night after I drove it home status changed to Delivered.
