Thanks for the welcome! Don’t know if I got any balls rolling but if I come across any inside info, I’ll be sure to share.

Another order was showing produced with a chip hold yesterday and this morning it changed to release with a chip hold ? Not sure if that’s good or bad.
Update to this post: the BS (not mine unfortunately) that was shown as having a chip hold, then went to released within a day, is now showing shipped as of today, with a rail car # and location etc.

So maybe there is hope for us!

My FordPass updated about 1/2 an hour ago with the location changed to the same as @WildFord

My odometer didn’t reset, it finally finished the rest of mile 10 that was showing on “My Ford” already, so it went approximately 1/2 a mile. Whoever drove it also caused it to get out of “Deep Sleep” mode.

There is definitely NO probability (as I was hoping) that it is on its way to me since the app updates an accurate location whenever driven.

It moved from photo one to photo two. It would be awesome if the end of that track is where they load vehicles onto rail cars.

When my June '21 built went on chip hold around two weeks after being built it got an ETA of 10/31/21 which they all got in that lot. So in my case Ford knew very early on it was going to be a very long wait.

I checked with my dealer today and they said chip hold... no ETA or information from Ford. Just told me to be patient.

I’m pretty sure it heads toward St.Louis and branches off along the way. You are probably ok. It sounds like the embargo was things traveling TO California. We’ll, and the flooding thing in NM.
this makes me hopeful. Mine was built 7/6 and I am only about 14 miles from you.
Very true wasn't thinking! Just ready to hear something anything!
I don’t have a United Road information either. I do feel like all of ours would have been shipped out at the same time, but in the rail cars that the logistics system put them on (most likely not the same unless going to the same final rail yard). Other than that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I also feel that anybody who would be traveling through the St. Louis junction is on the same trip/train, but not rail car. I’m hoping this 26 hour stretch is the last leg of the journey to St. Louis for me and the others heading that way.

Was anyone able to find anything on here about the path traveled to Louisiana? Minnesota?

Then again, this is pure speculation, we might all still be in Mexico (but I think the Arizona delivery and other facts prove otherwise).
Ours just went into the body shop.

Looks like the parking lot to me, but could be that building. Would be nice to know what that building is used for. Is it possible that is a parking garage to keep them out of the elements?

Just called my dealership and they told me they didn't hear anything about the chip shortage Ford customer service told me about, said my car is built, and that my car is "about two weeks out". Not sure if that's in fact the case, but I hope so!
I hope you are right. My dealer originally told me mine would be here any day and was supposed to be here aug 1 then when I text him, he checked again and he said it was still at plant on chip hold. It really is frustrating and I wish they would/could just tell us when the chips would be in and when they would get the cars out! Ugh!

My batch is 778/1166, no change this morning in the status. Hopefully, we all get that built status soon lol.
Hi Mike I’m 1154/1166, still in production, Dealer says it’s built but not shipped, as of August 5. I have asked for an update if it’s on a chip hold

Finished that eleventh mile just a little bit ago and stopped updating. I’m done speculating what that means. I’m going to assume they removed a zombie chip so it won’t update, beats getting my hopes up that it’s on a train.

How long to ship date once production starts? My production started yesterday.

For a "regular" order, after it's "built" it should ship within a few days - maybe a week. If you were "produced" around 7/4.. it'll be month+

This is the wrong group to ask. Ours were built the first week of July, they still haven’t shipped. It took a month for them to tell us they are on a microchip hold. The good new for you is that those built right before and right after ours were built then shipped within 24 hours.
