Do it on the map tab of the app. It will start at your car (or Berlin, Germany), press the circle in the bottom right corner of it doesn’t, then zoom out until you see the symbol for your car and zoom back in. The. You can compare it to a google terrain map and see what type of area it is (rail yard, parking lot, junk yard, etc.). The. Send screen shots, please.

I'm curious if anyone else has gone to the Ford Tracker lately. Like most of you, mine was stuck on production for over a month, but today it shows a built day of 8/10. Which is after being told it's being sent to the time-out corner to wait for the chip.

My only sense of this senselessness is that it's ready to roll, other than whatever chip it needs.

maybe our cars has just gone back to "production".

for a moment my FordPass showed 0 odometer reading and then now it is no longer active. I no longer have access to the car now. the "activate" button appeared again....there must been a reset of the system back in the factory.

This same thing happened to me yesterday. Which makes today's message that much more odd. I won't believe anything until the car is in my driveway.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that that building is where they do chip install. I’m hoping the vehicles are in the process of heading out. Hope you get updates soon.

Mine has been in that lot (or last seen in the lot- could have moved on in a rail car) since 7/29. Tracker still says “In Production.”

Well… just received a message from my dealer that an ETA was removed as with all chip hold vehicles. I was basically told there is no way of knowing if it’s a week or two month wait. ?

not sure how accurate is the GPS info. it is more like here. probably getting inline to go back to the big factory bldg.

the "activate" button has lead to "this feature is unavailable...". the system has been reset and I think that is a good sign that they are working on the car and not just sitting there waiting.

who said there was some info that a bad batch of chips has been installed??? can we confirm that? 'cus that may explain that my car has been reset. Zero odometer!

Just called my dealership and they told me they didn't hear anything about the chip shortage Ford customer service told me about, said my car is built, and that my car is "about two weeks out". Not sure if that's in fact the case, but I hope so!
