When you first looked at the “vehicle” icon page, when did it say it last updated?

this is funny I guess. So when I was frustrated nobody can tell me where my car is… I also tried to activate the App but it didn’t allowed me for a few times. So I gave up even checking the app….. but I thought I have a look just now and saw this!!!! It was activated 3:39 AM today. That’s 4:49 in Hermosillo? I’m in So Cal… not far from the plant at all.

unfortunately, like Jenbeth’s BS, my car (or I should say the car allocated to me) is showing in Mexico just outside of the plant near the tracks

but that may be the last time the car was driven and stopped which has 10 miles on the odometer.

I don’t know if this is a good news or bad.

I wonder if you can deactivate it when you know it is at the dealer so you don’t get in trouble? Mine says activation pending.

My tires vary from 41-47 whenever currently active.

My dealer knows I activated mine. Try to lock and unlock the doors when it is actively updating. I wouldn’t recommend starting it like I did before. I’m still worried about that one although I wonder if it would update the location ?

Maybe it actually has to be started with the key for that or actually be driven.

With you in SoCal, yours might actually get to you by truck exclusively. If it was in the rail yard at the same time mine was and traveled that way, it probably activated when they stopped somewhere and then has been traveling ever since. Did you get an email saying “Congratulations, your FordPass has been activated”?

Keep an eye on the mileage and see if the mileage also shows on your “My Ford” account online. If the odometer changes, you know it has been driven which would be off a train and/or onto a truck, or possibly dropped off by truck at your dealership.

And keep us updated on your status, please!

I’ve tried activation every day. Two times the result said something about parking it free of obstruction or something similar rather than activation failed. Now I wonder if some one was in the car or it was on when getting the park car in the open. Tracker still showing in production since 6 July.

I think I’ve seen some people tracked Westbound shipment going thru UPRR and eventually stop at Colton/Loma Linda yard. Actually both BNSF and UPRR has a yard there so either way is the same. It’d be a few days top on a slow fright train.

and yes I will keep everyone updated

my salesman hasmentioned the yard in Loma Linda. So likely it will go by rail. Tho I think a truck would be faster. 12 hrs drive it can be in LA

I wonder if a dealer was told by one of us that another one of us found out their vehicle was on BNSF, if they would contact BNSF and give the VIN to check their records and find out the cargo container number.

My dealer always tells me Ford will send communication once there is an update. ??‍ So probably not me.

Mine is a dud, poor communication and only answers part of e-mail questions. My first rep no longer works there and those left don’t have much enthusiasm. It might have something to do with the fact that they have ten new vehicles in inventory, most of them F-series trucks, and two of them are actually orders that are expected to come in and already belong to someone.

Called mine today ask him if he could look into the truck or train...never got a text back. I text back said his system was down he couldn't get into anything but would try again...that was at 2pm no reply back so guessing mine wouldn't help either
