While I have a quiet minute, here’s a preview of why I think they (at least last night) are/were still in Mexico. This is also why I think we should be getting our trackers updated soon and hopefully some emails.

1. My FordPass updated again last night with a different address listed, but still in Hermosillo. I don’t think the listed address would have changed to another one in Mexico if it wasn’t still there. The address is down the road from the plant where it was previously listed (although the map last night still took me to Kansas). Photo 1 shows address, 2 shows the map when I zoom in on the actual car icon, 3 & 4 show the satellite image (obviously a train yard). These photos will be in my next post because this one says I have too many.

2. The odometer shows my car was driven two more miles, enough for a final inspection and/or a drive to the train yard.

3. I was able to use FordPass last night to unlock and lock my doors for the first time.

4. This morning, I can’t pull down on the screen to update FordPass, however My Ford online shows that my car has one more mile on the odometer. I believe that happened when it was out on a rail car and it now won't update because it is moving. I also can’t lock/unlock the doors. Last night it updated every time I pulled down on the screen. Notice the mileage change and the tire pressure change.

So, I think the truck transport companies have been told your vehicles are on the way by rail, and by this point in time they may be. As always, I could be wrong, but all this makes a lot of sense to me. I’m hoping we all get tracker updates and emails today.

Thanks @Jenbeth for posting that because it was killing me wondering how you thought they were still in Mexico. It makes a lot of sense. I can’t say I’m not slightly disappointed to think they aren’t in the states but at least it’s a step towards home. Plus it restored a small ( very small) amount of faith back to Ford as to why none of us got any notification the Sports were shipped. There is still a lot of dropping the ball on their end that can’t be forgiven.

Absolutely, there is no excuse for the lack of communication, not in today’s digital world.

The GPS on the app isn't great. I've seen multiple addresses listed while my Bronco is sitting in my driveway.

As glitchy as the map is, that doesn’t surprise me. For one, the first time it opens it always goes to Berlin, Germany. Then it goes to either Oklahoma or Nebraska, depending on iPhone vs. iPad (both are right near railyards). That is when you click the address listed when you choose the “vehicle” icon at the bottom of the app.

When I click on the “map” icon it goes to Berlin, Germany and when clicked again goes to my current device location (iPhone/iPad). On that map, when I zoom out, my vehicle used to show at the plant and now is at the rail yard near the plant, both which match the listed address on the “vehicle” page.

I’m not so secretly hoping it is outdated information and that my vehicle is in the states, but I’m logically thinking it’s in Mexico awaiting shipment.

Thanks for the info! As nice as it would be to get the call it was here, I’m still happy to see they are doing something. It is a litttttttle annoying some cars that were built after ours were shipped before ours. But I guess what’s the difference between that and people who orders months after me, got theirs produced before mine. ??‍♀ I’m taking this as mine has been one of the longer ones for a variety of reasons many have tried to understand.

Also after seeing that United Roads post yesterday and digging into that. Having that load number is just that there is a PLAN for a truck to take your vehicle somewhere. And then when I went in and saw mine wasn’t awaiting pick up, figured the chances it was already on the train, felt slimmer.

I do feel that once that shipped e-mail comes - it’ll still be an obsessive wait, but definitely the finish line!

If you zoom in on that satellite photo, which is from ages ago, I’m sure, it looks like they are grouping vehicles by rail at, I assume in the order they need to be to get offloaded in the correct order.

I accidentally activated it when playing around with the app when my vehicle was in production (pic below). I had to be in the vehicle to fully activate it, so obviously couldn’t. Then on 7/11, I got an email saying it was fully activated, so somebody who got in my vehicle to do something must have pressed the activation button on the screen (2nd pic).
