Certainly.

-Sync does not not always link the current song info on the video screen with the dash cluster. Sometimes it will catch up, sometimes it will not after changing multiple channels or tracks.

-Periodically it will not connect to CarPlay after turning off but it was just on. Think of running an errand, getting back in and it not working when it was moments before.

-Last seat memory doesn't quite work. Starting it back up it will go through maybe half the cycle of resetting from the exit position to the last preset.

-Touch to unlock does not work at all for the tailgate, does for the window. Driver door is intermittent.

I'm told the last two are controlled by the same module as Sync.

I would perform a master reset from the head unit settings menu.

Check your device for lint in the Lightning port or USB-C port by using a wood toothpick. Also, try a different quality cable.

I am not sure this is controlled by SYNC. Have you had the BCM recall done?

This is a known issue. When touch to unlock does not work, use your remote FOB to remotely unlock the rear hatch. This should again activate the touch to unlock.

I appreciate your suggestions. Replies below.

This has been done several times, as well as re-loading the software. Still persists.

Apple OEM cables across the board. This has occurred when leaving the phone plugged in while I exit the car and when removing it. The other day I was using CarPlay and it dropped out while driving down the road.

Per the service department, programming in the Sync ecosystem performs this function- sliding back to exit/entry and then automatically going to the last preset.

I had seen that "fix" on the forums. Didn't work on this end.

With the exception of the tailgate issue, all of these are intermittent. In that I spent $46K on a brand new vehicle, my first in 22 years and got socked with all these gremlins? Not happy.

When the warranty expires if not sooner, I'm trading it in. I seriously doubt I'll ever own a new Ford product again based on this experience. My current dealer is great, I'd have bought it from them if Ford hadn't decided BSHL's were all dealer stock only.

Understand I got a runaround from 2 dealers trying to charge more than MSRP because it was "special." Then the shitty dealer I bought it from sold me an aftermarket extended warranty claiming it was a Ford product (which I cancelled immediately when I found out). Final straw was the dealer nearby that I took it to who jerked me around right before I was to go on a vacation road trip, causing me to drop everything I was doing including canceling appointments with clients to fix their mistakes... and then lied to me about it? Nope.

Point is it has not been an enjoyable experience and I give Ford zero latitude. This all is coming after decades of Ford loyalty in my family.

Give me an Aeronose F250 with a Windsor block or 7.3L PowerStroke any day over anything modern Ford builds.
