I recently traded up from an OB to a BL.
Is the Badlands suspension softer than the lower trim modles?

It might be that I had a 1.5" lift on the OB or maybe it's just in my head. I will be installing a lift and the Steeda strut bar so it might change. But this thread isn't about whether the strut bar makes a difference or not. That's more piece of mind and if you've ever opened the back hatch on uneven ground then you are aware of the amount of body flex.
She seems to lean more in the corners than the OB.

The question, is the suspension softer?

Yes, the suspension is both softer and taller. You can read more about it here. Excerpt:

Badlands and First Edition models expand Bronco Sport performance further, with the addition of hydraulic rebound stops that rapidly increase control at the end stop to reduce the jarring impact of rugged terrain. Upgraded 46-millimeter diameter rear monotube shocks are specially tuned for Badlands and First Edition models and further help improve off-road control and comfort.

More compliant front and rear anti-roll bars and springs were selected for the high-capability Badlands and First Edition models to increase off-road articulation.
