It may have something to do with their dealer quotas. They might need to sell 100 cars in a month to get their bonus from Ford (this is how they make money selling cars at invoice or less). If they have already met their quota 3 days before the end of the month, they may want to delay the sale of a hot car to help get them through the following month. Just my wild ass guess.

wasnt bought it was lot BS, so my wife called another dealer. have appt. tommorow

How was the appointment? I would assume she is still not driving a BS unless they happened to have the recall parts on hand.

I'm genuinely curious. I took delivery of mine yesterday after I went in Monday to cancel the deal, and found out they had parts Monday morning.

we went to another dealer this Wed past, left a deposit & she picks it up Monday. (could have gotten it Wed evening but I work & her schedule is nutz)

Called the other dealer & left a message on Wed as well, LMFAO he hasnt returned the call. I never had any issues with the other sales guy i had but he retired & things went south. so it looks like we have a new dealer.
