Idle Off

I was waiting for my wife at the airport flashers on, idling for over a half hour. After 20 minutes or so, I received a message in the display notifying me the car will turn off automatically in minutes unless I choose to Override the prompt. Which I did. Has anyone else seen this message.?

Yes. That way in case you forget to shut it off, it shuts off for you.

Yes... according to the manual, there's no way to permanently disable this setting, but maybe Forscan has an answer.

You can temporarily switch off the automatic shutdown feature, it will reset on the next ignition cycle. You can also override the automatic shutdown at anytime before the 30 second count down by turning it off or resetting the timer.

Thanks for the feedback. Like is said, it gave me the chance to Override, and I did. I believe like several cars I’ve owned, if I use remote start, it usually shuts down after 15 minutes or so.

On the main radio display…

Tap Settings -> Vehicle -> 30min Max Idle

Yes, everything annoys me, yet this doesn't bother me much at all. I just press the button or let it shut off.
